2020 Lexus RX350 Navigation update. Probably the best Navigation Lexus has ever offered.
Nov 14, 2019
Nathan Riesen

2020 Lexus RX is offered with the Generation 11 Multimedia System including cloud based Dynamic Voice Command with a 10 year subscription, 3 years of Enform Destination Assist ( live destination programming pushed down to your Nav system by a live person ) and up to 3 years of Dynamic cloud based Navigation updates. These are all made possible by the LTE Cell-Data connection powered by AT&T on the 2020 RX! Easily the best Navigation system Lexus has offered, take a look at how easy it is to program a destination. Apple CarPlay & Android Auto are also standard on the 2020 RX but are not shown in this video.

looks decent, but screen still seems awkward to reach/touch in its location.

I can't remember if the 2019 Avalon has this. Next time we drive it, I will look. I do know it has "traffic flow" and it works very good.. For my last long trip, I found the Toyota nav to work very well on our trip to Savannah. I personally like the way the highway signs are displayed. As well as all of the exits. And then some of the directions move to the center display then the finally to heads up....Apple Car only works on the center screen

So it looks like the new 2021 Lexus IS, LS, and maybe ES will all have the new Touchscreen Navigation System -

This system is terrible. Just crap. My BMW blows this away. I paid for the GPS but use Google Maps. It works. Sad. Never again will I buy LEXUS

neverlost, what model and year Lexus do you own? The system definitely varies by both.

when you say you use google maps, do you mean with android auto or apple carplay through the car's display?

glad you're "never lost" anyway.

as for "never" buying a lexus again, never is a long time, and things change. Lexus is about to launch an entirely new in car system that looks miles better plus several models have already moved to updated controls including LS, IS, ES, RX.

My wife and I own both a BMW and a Lexus, and I'd rather use Android Auto in either of them. However, I'll say the iDrive system makes searching for destinations easier. Though, I like the actual guidance of the Lexus system, especially the preview images of highway exits.
