Hyundai is on roll with this vehicle. For a vehicle of this, it looks hot and smoking (and IMHO, only a few cars in this class can be considered as such like JDM/Euro Accord, Mazda 6 and others).

It looks Hyundai are on to something here

Yeah, and then their non-Japanese cars will be built like junk just like the Korean cars.

The car looks extremely awkward in every picture I've seen, but absolutely incredible in person. Jalopnik said basically the same thing. Edmunds said the interior materials are "fantastic" and "best in class." I wouldn't judge it on the basis of press photos at all.

I'll have to side with you on this one. Photos really don't tell the whole story. I mean, the IS F didn't look very different to me from the ISx50 in photographs but when I saw it in person, it was a whole different story.

That looks nice. I think the interior and the exterior look nicer than the current Accord

Usually, I try not to buy into the Brand X copying Brand Y rhetoric, but good lord. Hyundai is nearly shameful in their copy->paste attempts to imitate the competition. They are all over the place with their product line as of late, especially their new "luxury" cars. Seriously, Hyundai - what DO you want to be when you grow up?

Damn, I know people have their own respective opinions but damn, to resort to such idoitic statements.

If you don't have anything decent to say, then I suggest that you better get the **** out @$$hole

Lol, then why do you own a Toyota?

Kim Jong-Il is the leader of North Korea, Hyundai is built in South Korea. Didnt someone tell you Korea split up sometime ago?

The Accord and Camry sell better because Honda and Toyota build exactly what people expect and are comfortable with. Their foundations are solid, dealership abound, They're easy and convenient to own, and their brands are defined in one word: reliability. The Sonata will be a wonderful car, I'm sure, but, people will buy the other brand because they know what to expect. It took years to get where Honda and Toyota are today. Hyundai is getting there, watch out.

In the US, a fully loaded V6 Accord MSRP's at around 31k. The Sonata should retail for substantially less, especially with no V6.
