Yeah, and then their non-Japanese cars will be built like junk just like the Korean cars.
that must be why Camrys (made in your state?) sell so well and are widely regarded as impeccable quality, not junk (even though materials look cheaper these days), and the RX is made in Canada, and same thing.

blackraven, don't make personal attacks and try to avoid the word censor. you can report a post if you think it's out of line. or just respond with your own opinion / facts.
I personally am not totally feeling the exterior for some reason. I think it could use bigger wheels, but it's not anything the aftermarket can't fix!!
Last time I checked, I owned a Lexus, not a Toyota. Although since it's an ES330, I guess it's just a "glorified" Camry, if you want to look at it that way.
But if you really must know, I've soured on it since I bought it.
Anyways, the fact that anyone could still consider Hyundai vehicles to be junk at this point in time is insane. I don't understand why people seem to hate Hyundai. It's a company actively trying to improve its products (and apparently doing a good job of it). What's so despicable about that?
I sense some bitterness here--perhaps because Hyundai is starting to make vehicles of better quality than Toyota/Honda?
I see this as only a good thing. You know, competition and all.
many korean buddies told me that the 'melted front' they all feared really doesn't look like melted in person. anyway, new sonata is swarming korean market right now. i bet 1/4 of korean cars are sonatas by 2012. lol
