Personally I am very impressed with the way GM has redesigned this vehicle. The exterior is attractive and the interior is a sight to behold. They even put a heads up display and LCD monitor in the gauge cluster. Very cool.
Still, for the kind of price GM is asking, I doubt they will win over buyers who would otherwise opt for a Lexus RX, BMW X series or Mercedes GLK.
I go to check them out at a Caddy even next weekend.....I've seen in person, they look good with the bigger wheels. Sadly every review has said the same thing, WTF were they thinking? Its heavier, slower, more expensive and isn't class leading in anything.
It looks A LOT better than the last version but this is far from the RX killer Caddy wants it to be
Looks nice on paper, but I haven't seen it in person. What I expect is a solid vehicle, which is "competitive" but not class leading, which has been GM's storyline a lot.
The SRX is a feature laden, value oriented vehicle which exhibits Caddy's art & science philosophy. I was not impressed with the steering in this vehicle but my impression of steering feel may vary from others.. You must check it out for yourself.
I really like the new SRX. Its a good product that GM made, it just needs to be refined a bit more. Haven't most of the reviews been with the 3.0L V6 and not the 2.8L Turbo V6? I can imagine the latter will spice things up a bit.
