Wow so many great choices for the buck..
1. IS300( wait I own that one already) still for the price you can find a 2001-2003 and have some money leftover for some fun( turbo), heck most turbo IS300's sell for under $20K.
2. SC300 1997+ - timeless style and will get a turbo upgrade.
3.SC400 1998-2000- the holy grail SC400, will only lower it and put wheels on it, keep it as a collector car.
4. GS400- A nice big luxury car, which looks great modded out.
5. GS300 - 1st gen, very rare to see and has nice style.

A GS400 or a 2000 SC400. Keep the $$$ remaining for mods.

Is $20K the total cost of the car or just a down payment? Can you really get an 06 GS300 for $20K? Anyway, if it were the total cost of the car, I'd get either another GS430, or the latest year LS430 I could get. If it were just a down payment I'd get a GS350.

Regardless if i had to pick between those two id get an Is250, I dont really like the 3GS.

but if it was me w/ 20k...IS300 Wald Kit..Coilovers..Rims..etc..
or.........................2GS 400/430 slammed on coilovers & 19's
This would be my daily driver. I plan on keeping it close to stock as possible, with the exceptions of rims and an intake maybe. I'm really looking for as much luxury and comfort as possible.

My previous Lexus was a 94 SC300, that I had some mods done. Not looking to do that again.

I'm am torn between the 3rd Gen GS and the 2nd Gen IS.

$20k total for the car and really no mods. I have other projects for the go fast car. Comfort and luxury is my number 1 objective with the Lex
