If you had $20,000 cash, with intentions of only buying a Lexus, which one would you buy?

My choices so far:
06 GS300, roughly 50-60k miles
06-07 IS250, roughly 50-60k miles

Hmm, a cheap 2nd gen GS400 or late SC300 only to build it up though

I tend to agree on this, but it might be difficult to stay within budget.

I would go for a 2002+ IS 300 5spd with LSD or a 2005-2006 LS 430 UL.

I would buy either a IS 300 manual/auto or GS 400 with e-shift for about 12k tops and dump 8k in it to make them a track vehicle.

I like your first choice, 06 GS300. If I wanted a car to mod though I would get acheap SC400 and put a 6 spd in it.

I'd try and find 2005 GS430 with as low mileage as possible.

Between your choices, an '06 GS300 > '06 IS250.

But if it was an IS350, get the IS350.

If I were you, I'd get an IS300 (find a manual tranny) or a 2nd gen GS300 (particularly '03-'05). Modify accordingly.

LS430 or RX330 - the RX with AWD would do better as a DD and for the mountains for me.

Are you planning on modding the car?

Regardless if i had to pick between those two id get an Is250, I dont really like the 3GS.

but if it was me w/ 20k...IS300 Wald Kit..Coilovers..Rims..etc..
or.........................2GS 400/430 slammed on coilovers & 19's
