Yep, JDP Initial Quality Study is NOT a reliability study. Should look at their Vehicle Dependability Study instead ...

I don’t know how you can gripe about this interior. The new E-Class offers Leather Wrap Dash, and Seude Headliner (like my current LS430 Ultra, what the LS460 is missing)! That’s classy!

any studies that shows MB improvements are crock, I see where this is going... I'm pretty sure Lexus use to dominate this study as well back in da day... (you got to start somewhere)

Ha, it will be an uphill battle convincing people that MB can be reliable

I would expect recent W211 E's to be nearly problem free since it's near the end of it's model life. If the W212 can maintain the recent improved reliabilty trend, then I'll be impressed.

good info guys. LS460/600hL is a great car, but Lexus needs to step it up on several fronts.

Can it park itself?

I would hope the E-class offers more features. The LS is 3-4 years old now. With that said, Im sure there are features the E and S does not have that the LS does have. Within time a new or updated LS will come out and further up the bar. Then a new E and S will come out and so on. Whats the big deal?
