Have you had a chance to drive a Smart, Liz? They are classicly unstable, pound all over road bumps, rock back and forth like a Bronco during the slow transmission shifts, and, despite the surround-roll cage and some durable hardware, have little crash protection in all but the slowest impacts. Somehow they passed our safety standards, but it's difficult to see how. They also need premuim gas and have only a 2/24 warranty.

I was expecting something pretty horrible - but it looks like rims and front and rear airdams. Still doesn't make me a fan of these little turds on wheels.
When I see them on the road, I just want to bump them with my car to make them spin out of control.. "how's that mileage working out for you now?"
If anyone hasn't watched the youtube vid of the Smartcar w/ the Hayabusa engine - go watch it. INSANE - not to mention this is the only way I'd own one.
Nope and I never will. It reminds me of those little toy cars you rub on the floor so they can zoom off.....

Psst....I'm not really that into cars, it's just that I used to work in the industry. If the opportunity presents itself I'll look but I don't go out of my way to chase cars down.
Don't tell the other guys on here though it'll ruin my image, let's just keep it between us.
