i was 23 when bought my first ls430 UL back in 02.. it was my car and i was the only one that drive it.. i don't think anyone think i was 59.. everyone sat in my car likes it, it got massage chair/cooler/seat warmer in the back seat... this ***** was cool back in its time i check out the 460 when it came out i wasn't too impress...

 

I understand the LS460 is newer and has better everything than the LS430. However, I agree the LS430 looks more luxurious and more stately. The LS460 does not have much presence IMHO.

This is what we are struggling with when it comes to finding the replacement for our aging LS400. We would love to get the LS460. But we just don't think it looks stately like the LS430. We are hoping the 2010 mid-life refresh will bring improvements.

 

I'm just not feeliing the LS460 looks over the 04-06 LS430, BUT when you mod the LS460 WOW! The LS460 stock gose thru the roof for me then, it gose from ho hum to in hot over night.

Those are some sick 430's in that thread. Like I said before, both 430 and 460 look good to me. The 460 looks better but the 430 is no slouch and I would be proud to sport one.

 

I was just loaned a LS460 while our LS430 was having some service. I thought it was an ES until I got home and walked around the back. It thought it was a nice ES, but confusing the entry car for the flagship should not happen.

 

Whats wrong with him asking this question??? He wants to discuss the differences.


I personally prefer the 460 to the LS430. It looks more sleek and modern to me. I also think the car looks better worked than a 430. The roof line in the 430 is kind of high and reminds me of an old BEnz. I am a LS460 guy, interior or exterior

 

I really like both cars, but the LS460 is out of my price range. I really like the 04+ LS430s, the LED tail lights look awesome, and they always make my head turn when I see them.

 

Thats the best way to put it. The old LS looks like the older S class . It was clearly copied imho. I made this statement before and people get huffy but I still feel the same way

 

LS460 and 600h all the way. LS430 as a used cheap car is decent I guess..

I think the 430 is still more than just a decent cheap used car. It was class leading in its day and will still beat a civic for performance and luxury

 

2007 gs350 is best car ever made by lexus,,,

 

I like LS430 refresh better than LS460. but i don't like LS430 pre refresh. it rides like a dream. my pop has one.
