ok here it is..
i am debating between a slightly used 2007 BMW M5 or 2006 CLS55 AMG
i am even thinking about the 2007 CLS63, but the thing is ..isnt the CSL55 faster than the 6.3 model?

M5 will cost about 75000-80000 and CLS55 will cost about the same considering it is 2006 model.
what would be a good choice? interior wise, BENS blows bmw away for sure..
anyone has experience with these cars?

I think you should test drive them. I drove my cousin's 08 M5 a couple of times and it blew me away, I love it. Especially the sound.

If you really like to push your car to its limits and/or go to the track, I would sa M5. For any other reason I'd take the CLS, the styling both inside and outside are SO much better, but I don't even have to drive them to know the M5 is the more sporting machine

 

Well, if your only choices are M5 and CLS55, I would go with M5. I don't like the CLS because its a sedan that pretends to be a coupe, but also because it has tiny side windows with poor visibility.

 

I say go with the cls55 or cls63 because you probaly will never go to track. Plus the CLS looks better than an M5.

 

I LOVE the CLS.

M5 looks ugly to me.

 

CLS for me too, way more sexy, never a fan of the current M5 styling .

Your here in cali so chances are you'll be sitting in traffic mostly so go with looks. Get the CLS.

 

that is the weak point of cls in my opinion also..
it can seat only 4 as compare to 5 in the M5...

by the way i have had Gs430 and e46M3..

I don't know I like both of them but the CLS seems to be a winner for me. Now if you meant CL63, CL63 all the way.

 

personally i choose cls as well. but i would go with cls63. it has less tq, but i think they are just about as fast as each other

if you are getting a 06 cls55, i am sure the price should be better than 80k?
