Default New Pontiac G8

I didn't see any threads about this car. Should be out in the next month or so. Looks like pretty good bang for the buck.

Thoughts?

I think the new G8 look awesome. I dont care for domestic cars to much, even a Corvette, but I like this car. The price for the V8 is very attractive.

Well it's domestic in Pontiac name only. It is made in Australia by Holden. Performance looks great, but it will not be available with Nav, HID or XM which is a problem for some people, including me.

Nice looking sedan, I like it. But the #1 domestic brand car I would consider getting is still the Corvette

I like this car a lot actually. Hopefully it being an Australian-built holden, the interior materials and build will be better than previous GM models.

Unfortunately, I still will not buy a Domestic car until I see proof that they hold up and that they don't depreciate like a brick.

Good job though Holden!

I'm not certain any "BMW devotees" will be "doing double-takes" over this.

I'll take your word for it. Based on the pics here, it certainly looks better in any color that is not ignition orange, although I could still do without the rice-ish hood scoops and the wannabe side vents.
