I can do oil changes, air filter, A/C filter, spark plugs, brakes, light bulbs all around. DIY is the wave of self-knowledge (and saving money)

I'm with you Doug. I can also change the O2 sensors, PCV valve, battery and rotate the tires. I wish I was an expert. I love cars I just wish I had the time to work on them more...

I do my own cosmetic DIY mods. And I top up my own fluids.

However, I let other people do the dirty mechanical work. I have a bit of automysophobia...

It's interesting how the more expensive the vehicle, the less work on it is done by the actual owner. I can do virtually anything on a car, and used to back in my Honda & Chevy days, but ever since moving up to a Lexus I find myself considering shops more and more often.

I know I'm not the only Lexus owner who just no longer has the time to spend entire days diagnosing and correcting any problems with their vehicle.

If I had more time and a garage filled with tools, I'd do everything myself. A hydraulic lift and an entire garage filled with air tools would be nice to have...
