When I had my 2001 GS430 I saw the new GS and kept saying I will never buy it , it's ugly and this and that to put it down. Then money fell into my lap and I drove it and it changed my mind 100% I bought it hahah!! So when we answer these ?'s we always think money but if it wasn't an issue would you rather have the S550 or LS? Another thing is a lot of pweople think the S550 is ugly welll I thought the same of the new GS untill I drove it a few times and looked at it and strted to feel out it's presence. Just a thought.

Anyone have an idea on what it will cost the LS460L and what a lease might be say with 10k or 20k down on it for 48 months. Just some guesses would be nice

I thought that the new S Class looked terrible in pictures, but you've got to see it in person. I think it takes seeing the car in the metal to appreciate all the curves and creases, plus the interior is unbelievable. I looked at all of the pics of the car on the previous page and I think my favorite is just the stock car with the AMG package and AMG rims...looks so good.

I'm excited to see the first reviews of the LS 460 (L) and S550. They seem like the top two in their class, and I very comparable in size, engine, transmissions, technology, ect.

Time will tell!

I agree. This car had to grow on me, but once I actually sat in one and drove it...story done! I really do like this car. This car has some real presence in the flesh. It's so much different than seeing it in pics.

Some of these pics are too over the top for me. I would take the AMG kit from the dealer and slap on some nice quality 22's and lower it with Kleeman. IMO, there's no need for all the crazy kits out there.

The only MB that I would ever consider buying is the MB CL Class. I would never buy a MB S Class ( for numerous reasons ), so there's no point in me wasting my time test driving it. I much rather get a BMW 7 Series or the 2007 Lexus LS ( the interior of this car is mind blowing , plus you can't beat Lexus reliability ). My mom was going to get the new MB S Class, but I convinced her to wait for the 2007 Lexus LS.

She'll be going from a BMW X5 to a Lexus LS, so we'll see. If she doesn't like the LS, she can always give it to me.

Remember he has the sport package and the stock 19's chromed instead of silver. He had discount tire semd them out before he took delivery
