LS400 or GS430?
Ok guys I thought when I parted out my GS I was going to move on and buy something else but after driving many cars and thinking about it I have decided to stay in the Lexus fam.
Now my two choices are a 2000 LS400 or an 01GS430. I am going to drive this thing stock for a while seeing I am buiilding a townhouse and getting engaged hence broke lol. I really like the idea of upgrading to the LS but am a little disappointed I cant step up to the ls430. That would be a no brainer.
I also like the idea of getting my car just with the bigger engine and a little newer. I am trying to do the smart thing here and stay within a budget for once in my life lol. What would you guys choose and why???
Oh and I can get the car at the dealer auction so I am saving some money there as well.
How do I start a poll???

Here's the other I recalled. LS430 but much of the logic is similar for the LS400

I guess I should chip in since I have both a LS and GS...
You've had a GS already, get the LS and enjoy the additional comfort and room. Performance stock vs stock isn't all that different.
I'll sell you my bodykit, exhaust and suspension off mine when I decide to get a new beater and you're ready to mod!

Lol, no scolding implied
, just making use of the resources that are already at your fingertips. I remember participating in most of these so know they're out there.

along with the fact that come this fall if you buy a LS400 (great car in it's day) you will be 2 generations behind whereas the 2nd Gen GS430 is only one year removed from the assembly line so it looks a lot fresher IMO. Being that you already came from a GS I don't have to sell you on the GS. Good luck in whatever decision you make as both were and still are great cars.
