Um...I guess we need someone who can read Japanese to tell us what the cover says about the car to know if it's regarded as a Supra.

Not a bad design at all, just not one that should carry the name Supra.

Cool...the powerplant sounds good enough to carry the Supra name despite the exterior.

mani (works for Toyota) over at Supra forums says:

Wow, this made it here sooner than I though it would. Firearms information is fairly correct. The car does exist and the GT version (V8) is in advanced development ( currently cold weather and hot weather testing). I'm not going to go into this much as I can't but let's just say that I have some miles on the GT version. You boys will NOT be disappointed!
Don't ask me any questions as I can't answer them (not that I don't want to but I can't)

so this is 98% for sure now??

i will break my heart if toyota is shi**ing with us.

since they are dropping celica and MR2 from the market, the whole toyota line up would be for mean age of 90+ buyers.

i m sure they have to do something to make the name toyota seems fast and sporty

I CANT WAIT!! I REALLY CANT!!!

screw IS, screw 350Z, screw C6, screw M3, screw S4,screw basically everycar on the road. supraowns them!

sorry i m real excited now

im trying to not get my hopes up because toyota has been denying the release of a new supra. they say that the sport market is too fickle... i would love to see a new supra... and i know that the release of the mkiv was not announced till about 3 months before it was released... it is a possibility that they are keeping it under wraps... but until it comes from the horses mouth, i dont think it'll happen. everyone has been hearing rumors for years.... but none have really come to past. i am hoping though... planning on getting an MKIV.... but i am planning on waiting to see if toyota releases a new supra and what it would look like/performance numbers. plus, i do think the value of the MKIV would drop a bit...would be an opportunity for me to go pick one up at a good price.
