I'd rock that supra in a heartbeat. I've been a Toyota car salesman for 8 years and always wanted to tell my customers I drove a Toyota instead of the honda's,audi's,acura's I have always had

The IS doesnt look bad in a coupe... I just hope that they still produce the sedan as well as a coupe model...

I hope the price of the IS500 is not that high, although I doubt it can be under $50K. Which would you rather have? A $50K V8 Supra with 450HP or an IS500 with about 400HP that cost somewhere bewteen $50-$60K? I think I'd take the Supra.

The rear of the supra reminds me of the S2000 butt. The front is ok I guess, just doesn't like the big mouth front grill. The grill make it look cheap some how. As the say the more affordable will be around $40,000 with 350 hp, I'll pass. It's a Toyota not a Lexus. I was hoping they're at the 30k limit. So dissapointed they're only be 2 seaters. Now i know i made a good decision on buying my IS350.

not sure why they are aiming at the Nissan 350Z.

$50K supra vs $27K 350Z

The reason they killed the supra and the Z back then was becasue of their high cost. Nissan came back with a more affordable Z. I hope Toyata will do the same because with a $50K price tag, there are many choices out there thus more competition.

I knew it, upper 50s for price. The nose looks like a 'Vette to me.

The V-8 Supra will definately be the niche car in Toyota's lineup. The V-6 Supra will sell very well IMHO. Personally, I prefer 4-door sedans, but if Lexus were to do something with the LF-A it would be pretty tempting.

Both look great. Pricing will make or break the Supra. If it pushes into the high 50's low 60k range then it is competing with the new Z06.

Figure with inflation that 50k is pretty reasonable... 96 supra TT (auto only) were around 50k nearly 10 years ago....for the money this would spank it sideways. Love my IS but as soon as I can place an order here for a Supra internally I'll have one.

The new Supra is SO sexy. When my lease expires in 2008, I'll definitely consider it
