LOL. We'll just have to see. I told you we had one as a rental once, it could barely make it up a steep hill lol. Literally. We had to turn the A/C off.
If gas hit $10 diesels would come back with small engines.
Not with Diesel at $14/gallon. Remember, Diesel prices are rising even faster than gas prices, and it currently costs more than premium in most if not all states.

Still cheaper per mile, gas would have to exceed diesel by more than 2x for it to make any sense at all for me to drive anything other than my Jetta for cost reasons.
Nice try......but irrelevent. I showed you a picture, several months ago, of the actual fuel-use in my vehicle crusing on a (level) I-66, not coasting down Sandstone Mountain LOL. Some other owners, in the Trailblazer/EncoreGX-forums with the same engine, have reported more or less the same results, using the actual accumulated-MPG figure displayed, not the instantaneous MPG number as you vary your pressure on the gas pedal.

Speaking of 50 mile per gallon look how good owners have it in China, Buick needs to bring this thing to America 1000 mile range. Better than 50mpg.

Yes, I agree....bring it over. But Buick said it originally was going to be a BEV, not a Plug-in-Hybrid.
I owned one of the early big 60s-vintage Buick Electras back when I was in college. It was a dream to drive, but clearly too big for today's driving-conditions where I live.
