initial impressions: I like it but it's got conservative styling, the front is a little bit weird but not offensive. I like the side profile and rear 3/4. rear is very very conservative with no notable design except for L E X U S spelled across the back. the more i look at it the more i like it... i think. the more i think how did they screw up the ES so bad! I said it before, it looks lie Toyota is ready to take EV's seriously with the Highlander and now this. Just their branding alone will help bring EV's more mainstream.

I like the look of this. Looks like a solid effort. No frunk is a bit of a miss, but the rest looks decent.

Wow. I actually really like it.

Could have more range, though it's more than enough for us. Regardless, while we're thinking of going EV for my wife, she will find this too big compared to what she wants.

LOVE it

Very few people will buy it:

Seriously. 50 more miles of range and I would buy the Pacifica out and wait for this.

I’d wait for the real world tests before passing judgment on range. Some EVs do better than others when it comes to real world actuals vs EPA. The EPA number is synthesized and isn’t the product of actual on-road testing.

That hasn't been the case traditionally for Toyota though, they have really struggled with EVs and range. I mean right there in their own press picture its showing 264 miles of range at 94% SoC. Remember that 300 is not even the EPA estimated range, thats just Lexus' estimate.

It really is a shame, that vehicle would be a transformative vehicle for Lexus if it had better range. The RZ is too quirky and weird but that vehicle really has appeal.

The Germans tend to overperform the EPA ratings however.

Not to mention alongside the low range, max charging 175 kw 35 min 0-80. Thats awful. Vistiq is 27 min, 195 kw, Ioniq 9 is 24 min with over 200w...Lucid Gravity 22 min...200 miles of range in 10 min.

Lexus has arrived in 2021 instead of 2026. As usual.

Well it's hard to say tell for sure what the range would be on this prototype. It's probably been sitting idle for press video and photos, with very little movement, thus decreasing the range estimate.

But, Im dealing with a ~280 mile theoretical range on my Etron, so this is better. If it doesn't sell, that just means better lease rates for me. lol

For regular everyday use obviously that’s fine, but for anybody who road trips that’s a different story. The charging speed is a big part of that too.

Yeah it's not looking good. The press release says up to 300 miles on select grades. so must be the lowest end, most optimistic model.

Reading everything, I don't think this will be cheap. Im guessing MSRP close to 80K for base and close to 100K for full loaded models.
