It's strange how Toyota decided 300 mile range is enough, but if you look at the avg range of current Toyota products, not counting the uber efficient cars, they are around 300 miles in range. They are probably banking on owners charging at home more often than charging outside and take shorter trips instead of trying to go to BF W. Va in one bladder killing drive. More like let's take the family of 6 out to dinner rather than let's take this thing on a long life altering journey.

300 ain’t great but our LX nets us 250-290 lol. And since we got a kid and my behaviors have changed, we usually end up eating and chilling at a WAWA or BUCEES for 30 minutes or so. So let’s say I get 80% or so battery life, it’s not too too bad. Let’s say Atlanta to Orlando.
With more people adopting EVs tho, will there will an available charger? Will they all work? Many times they are broken or not working correctly. Let alone A Grand Highlander Hybrid gets you around 480-550 miles per tank.
