Steve's Pacifica replacement thread
given your range requirement, i’d just get a pallisade hybrid… 619mi. range.

it will still be quiet, and while a phev is an attempt at ‘cake and eat it’, i’d probably just get a hybrid instead. a lot cheaper.

well you keep mentioning gls which ain’t chump change.
micah says pallisade hybrid is very family friendly.
thanks for the ‘advice’. if one is really into jill’s trolling thread (and maybe more a consumer reports believer) they definitely won’t be buying a hyundai, lol.
hyundai has a lot of recalls because they’re doing a TON of stuff (upgrades, new models, etc). most ‘recalls’ are nothingburgers or haven’t even actually affected anyone (just hyundai getting ahead of it). but some are obsessed about the issues.
for grins i looked up recalls:
2025 toyota camry 9 recalls
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2...toyota%20camry
2025 hyundai sonata 0 recalls
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2...undai%20sonata
2025 rav4 7 recalls
7 https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2025%20toyota%20rav4
2025 hyundai tucson 10 recalls
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2...undai%20tucson
2025 tesla model y 4 recalls
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?vymm=2...la%20model%20y
pretty mixed bag…

Be advised and refer to @Toys4RJill thread about the latest recalls and complaints from Hyundai/Kia

Have you ruled out the ICE Enclave/Traverse/Acadia triplets? They have a ton of room inside, a roomy third-row-seat, all without the huge bulk of the Tahoe/Suburban class. While not necessarily the most reliable vehicles in their class, they are likely to be at least as reliable as your Pacifica was, if not more.
And the new EV Cadillac Vistiq is getting rave reviews.

We'd get a low package GLS450, way cheaper than a 3 row Range Rover lol. Its a lease payment thing too, lease payments in this class are highly variable because of rebates etc. No joke the payment on a $100k GS450 is the same as a $76k TX500h and LESS than an $86k TX550h+. I would rather be under $1,000 but $1,250 is a hard line.
I love the Palisade. If we consider something non PHEV we would consider that and also a Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX.
That 4 cyl in the GM 3 rows really lets those vehicles down. If I were to get a 4 cyl it would have to be a hybrid of some kind.
Vistiq for sure we will look at...forgot to mention that.

When I make a list, the ones that interest me most are the ones I write down first. And from the list and your posts, I have a good feel that it's gonna be one of the top 3. Lol. I had a Volvo rental not long ago with similar interior. I thought it drove well. It was my first time with a Volvo actually. I thought it drove more like a BMW than a Mercedes. Suspension was on firm side. It didn't leave me any desire to get one. If you're used to van comfort, it will be difficult to find a non van transportation that matches the utilities.
As for range, what do you expect from published numbers? You may be disappointed.

I sat in a Rivian and they are pretty tight inside, definitely not 3 row SUV material. The floor in the 3rd row is quite high so I didnt find it comfortable. I'm 5'9" and I can fit comfortably in the 3rd row of the TX with the two seats infront in my normal driving and sitting positions. I found the 2.4t quite refined.
