Steve's Pacifica replacement thread
When I make a list, the ones that interest me most are the ones I write down first. And from the list and your posts, I have a good feel that it's gonna be one of the top 3. Lol. I had a Volvo rental not long ago with similar interior. I thought it drove well. It was my first time with a Volvo actually. I thought it drove more like a BMW than a Mercedes. Suspension was on firm side. It didn't leave me any desire to get one. If you're used to van comfort, it will be difficult to find a non van transportation that matches the utilities.
As for range, what do you expect from published numbers? You may be disappointed.

That’s kind of why I want at least 300 miles of range. Figure you get 200 usable on the highway before you need to stop and charge. A trip to WV would be one charge stop, could probably make it to NJ without stopping.

XC90 out of the PHEVs, Vistiq if electric, GLS or X7 are good gas options. I think the interiors of the others (save the Hyundai/Kias) will disappoint. The Pacifica is very nice on the inside.

Stay away from any EV from Kia, Hyundai or Genesis - up to 10% of them will break down while driving due to sudden ICCU failure.
They've tried various software updates to fix this but it is still not solved after 4 years.
(I owned an EV6, on the same platform, and ours failed twice in the first year. It can be dangerous if it happens on the highway.)
The Volvo EX90 has also got endless reliability issues
The XC90 PHEV is however a good option. The current model is mature after many years of production.
So I'd take the XC90 PHEV, GLS or X7.

It's a real pity because it was a great car in every other way. Kia/Hyundai/Genesis have some of the best and boldest designs IMHO, loaded with features, spacious, reasonable price. Super fun to drive, and very safe. The EV6 scores higher in the "moose test" than even a Taycan. But after stranding my wife twice (month-long repairs both times) & a useless dealer, we lemon law'd it.
not actually a factor in my car choice decisions here in florida.
don’t blame you! what did you replace it with?

The problem with the XC90 is the space inside. If it was the same size as the TX it would be a no brainer. The TX would be an easy buy if it were more available and the leases were decent.
Are you open to a grand wagoneer? They are very nice! And leasing options are extremely attractive right now because they are having a hard time moving them. My Local DCJR dealer is doing 5k at signing and ~$750/mo for 3 years on fully loaded Summit-reserve L models. The 3.0L Hurricane is a stout powerplant and most, if not all of the bugs have been worked out.

Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer are the same size. The "Grand" is just the upscale version, and they have discontinued the "Wagoneer", they are all "Grand Wagoneers" now. The GW comes in SWB and LWB, the SWB one is still too big. My wife won't drive a big truck like that around every day, it needs to be unibody.
Ford Mach-E. Not as interesting as the Kia, doesn’t have the same range and charging speed, but it’s a good reliable and practical car nevertheless. unfortunately doesn’t come in a 3 row version.
You may not have moose’s but you have Florida Man ;-)
