Finally left the ICE camp and bought a Tesla :)
I still love my GS400 (trying to sell it though - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/market/917538 ), but ever since I drove a Tesla Model S a couple of years ago, I've been hooked and I resolved to own one some day!
Flash forward 5 years since my first encounter with a Tesla and my enthusiasm/desire to get a Model S didn't wane one bit. I have never wanted any specific car for so long. Usually when you like a car, you typically change your mind (as an enthusiast anyway) every couple of years and then next "greatest" car becomes your fantasy. So I'm not sure what is about a Tesla - perhaps the continuous improvements, the technology (I'm a tech geek and can't get over how much tech is in a Tesla).
Anyway, I couldn't afford one so, had to wait till the first owner took the hit on most of the steep depreciation that most luxury cars fall victim to.
What do I like about Tesla's you ask? The very powerful, smooth acceleration and zero noise. Hands down, if you haven't driven a Tesla (note I keep referring to Tesla's and not a general reference to BEV's, as Tesla's don't really have any reasonable competition right now, that will change soon ofcourse), you owe it to yourself to keep an open mind and drive one pronto. Are you surprised I don't miss the V8 sounds? The only way to answer that question is that you just need to drive one to understand why most Tesla owners seem to get lumped into a "cult' of sorts.
Anyway, I got a 2016 Model S 75D. It's fully loaded with every single option other than an upgraded stereo (which is some additional speakers and a subwoofer - something I can easily upgrade later). and the cooler looking 21 inch rims. It had only 26k km/16.25k miles, full 4 year/80k km/50K miles new car bumper to bumper warranty (from Tesla directly) from the day I purchased it and Free supercharging for life. Here are some pics:

Love the colour. 0-60 in 4.2 seconds you got the slow one.

@Stroock639 Even a 2016 GSF is not as fast this car. Much less my NA GS400
@Lexus2000 Its fast enough - going for the Performance version was another $10 - $15K over my budget.

Very cool pickup - I always love seeing someone work hard and obtain something they've dreamed about! I wish you were in the states - I'd make a move on your beautiful GS400 in a heartbeat!
