Thanks for the info!. How is the quality of Avis cars? I'm looking at Enterprise and Avis. Avis is about 20% less for same Full Size Lux SUV. Also how did you get Amex discount? I don't see on Avis website where I can get Amex discount. Thanks.
If you enroll within the AMEX site they will give you a code. Fleet is good, better than Enterprise for sure and also better than Hertz.

Platinum gives you mid-level status at Avis, and top-level at Hertz (President's Club) and National (Emerald Club Executive). You get the same sort of benefits with Avis, I can choose a car from the line etc. Pricing is always similar and Avis seems to have better cars than Hertz. I've never tried National.

Thanks! I will try later. I've actually never rented from Avis. For some reasons I thought they're similar to Budget.

I used your link and it applied A756900 code for discount. Surprisingly the price went up about 30 bucks compared to when I tried to book earlier today without Amex.

i was about to post that with the cards they likely raise the offered ‘price’ and give the discount, netting zero or less.
i LOATHE car rental companies.
but ‘dynamic pricing’ is the case for most everything now… do a lot of google searches for something? you’ll likely pay a higher price! best to do incognito although that’s not guaranteed (that they won’t know) either.
we live in a shake down world.

The discount absolutely does save you money, I have priced it with the AMEX code and without and with other discounts. Mainly I use it for the service not the price savings though, not having to go to the counter etc. I don't rent enough in a year to qualify for those clubs just in the number of rentals I do.
These days I really only rent from Avis. I have their Preferred status through work, so it's super nice to just walk out at the airport, read my name on the screen that tells me what stall to pick my car up in, then get it in and drive away. They have some pretty nice cars available too. In fact I'm heading down to San Jose this weekend and renting from them. "Genesis G70 or similar" so I can't wait to see what we end up with!
Thanks for that, I'll be ordering one for myself if it passed your expectations lol!
I would just suggest reading reviews. I bought one for my Dad for Christmas and it’s fine. I got one for my birthday. I used it twice and it was great. I then went on a road trip to Phoenix which is roughly 6 hours. I charged the compressor, tested and confirmed that it worked at the hotel in AZ. On the way home, I got a “low tire pressures” warning light, so I got off the freeway because I would rather destroy a tire than get killed trying to change one on the shoulder of an interstate. The compressor didn’t work, so I just used my gauge to confirm PSI was ok. It took about 1/2 hour to find an air/water machine that actually worked.
The worthless TPMS threw a warning light because the right rear had 38.6 PSI and the other three were high 39 or 40 PSI. Hardly low tire pressure, but the system doesn’t measure PSI. It only detects slight differences in rotation and loses its ****. It would have been cool if the compressor worked the one time I needed it. I am looking at Ryobi as a replacement.

Reviews are good:
Obviously nothing is perfect, every product is going to have a bad one here or there.
holy crap that's seriously fast! bugattis and koenigseggs aren't touching that... i suspect that M3 won't be taken down until AJT lines up next to it in the yukon!!
also looks like he achieved 50-130 from the display... that is insanely fast to be sure!
guy does the cross on his chest before hitting it.
and then curses like crazy once he realizes he did it. haha
you hit the gas at 50 so by 60 the turbo's fully spooled up and you're not losing time... when koenigsegg did its 0-400-0 runs they actually keep accelerating past 400 so by the time the clock starts the car is already fully braking and human reaction times aren't being factored in
