Yes, and mine was a joke (or a poke) as well. But going that fast in a big ungainly truck with a high center of gravity and the wheelbase of a Civic is positively terrifying to me.

Agreed. The Yukon Denali I had wasn’t confidence inspiring north of 85-90

(google’s wheelbases of civic and lx570…) well the lx wheelbase is 5” more but your point is a good one.

5 inches is actually a lot in terms of car dimensions. I still wouldn’t feel comfortable taking an LX 570 above 90…

This to me is a big reason why I still like sedans vs trucks. Big trucks like that just have a "ungainliness" that is uncomfortable when driving them day to day. The big sedan feels so much lighter and more responsive and easier to drive even though its just as long if not longer. Even the unibody GLS450 I had as a loaner a couple years ago for a week, I was very happy to get back into my sedan.

Finally got the Pacifica all cleaned up. My wife has been so busy showing houses and doing open houses it hasn’t been sitting around! Man of leisure here I come!

If anybody is looking for a little battery rechargeable tire pump, this one is great. On one charge it will inflate 4+ tires.

Amazon Amazon

If you want the case:

It definitely didn’t feel inspiring!! 5-6 miles in the drive I turned the dial to sport mode. Didn’t notice much difference. Only reason I was traveling that fast because my wife water broke!! I passed by a cop on side of road at 100mph with my hazards on and he/she never left that spot. Granted it like 2am so I was only vehicle on the road.

LOL LX is fine over 90... It would cruise at 100MPH+ all day long, comfortably.

I have a hard time noticing a difference in anything other than suspension rebound with those modes. I think it might tighten the steering up a little.

And oh yeah, it's rated to go 137 lol. That is surprisingly fast. Like I said it's a fridge on wheels especially at those speeds but it still pulls fine past triple digits.

Yeah well worth $70. I keep it in the trunk.

Its "fine", but its not confidence inspiring. Its a big softly sprung truck and it moves around a good bit on the highway compared to a sedan.

I forget what tires came on our LX from factory (Dunlops I believe) but it was prior to putting Michelin Defender LTX tires on (21 inch wheels). Never tried it on the Michelins.

Agreed, I've taken my sequoia up to 120 and it's a floaty mess over 80 really......it will do it but it's not confident at all.

Mb buyouts are in fashion. Are we back to late 90s mb, and cost cutting overdrive lead to products like the w202 or w220?
