The drone generator lol! If the engine was quieter and the transition not so annoying this thing isn't bad, handling is boatastic and the rear end feels unstable but SUV is SUV

EDIT: omg it's so slow at throttle levels that don't cause drone. I just wish the engine sounded good or something, I would never want this vs a diesel Q5 if it wasn't for the fact RXs never break.

For the record, even after 25+ years of owning exclusively BMWs as my DD, I do always use my blinker. But that doesn't make the trope any less fun.

RX hybrid? Yeah that was surprisingly quick the one time I drove one.

toyota with that hybrid was 20 years ahead of every other car maker back then. The RX was not specifically tuned for mpg

RX450h AWD yes, it's not quick at all lol!

Lifetime MPG according to the computer is 25.3, that's lower than my LS460 so it's not exactly saving money on gas.....

Always is a big word, like 100% never miss.

As far as I know, I'm the only one here with perfect driving skillz.

I have noticed the same thing, and the way he holds it all in his belly is really, really unhealthy...he's a big smoker too.

Yeah Toyota CVT hybrids are bad with the drone, for whatever reason our Pacifica doesn't drone at all unless you are on really hard throttle.

It's just so weird because it's very smooth if you take it easy, but you request 70% power or more and especially from a stop you get the engine turn on bump accompanied by drone. Feels nice but doesn't have much power and is disconnected

Yup! It kept me away from hybrids for a long time

I’m liking the hybrid in the X5 plug in. If they only put it in the X7. I think I would prefer that powertrain over the V8 TT.

Hahaha! Good one!

Go drive a V8 X7, you will never consider that line of thought again

This is one of the reasons I didn't pick Mercedes, the trim just doesn't hold up like you would expect....

This car has extended leather and all the expected stuff like double plane glass etc, lock pulls are plastic for some reason

Wood and trim fades really easy on most of these I see

Seats are very soft and comfortable, lower cushion is not the most bolstered but it's overall good. I prefer the newer cars seats though

4.7TT, came in due to misfires and oil leaks but overall not in bad shape

These are nice cars but every time I get one in I'm reminded how soft they drive, full sport is softer than my A8 in its softest mode and they just do not track and react the same way. Not a bad thing but just not what I prefer......

Engine when fixed feels good, trans is still confused at times but that was the other major turnoff of the S-class for me. Needs motor mounts though, while car moves when you blip the throttle and has felt shaking at idle.

Overall nice car, I just wish they drove stiffer and held up over time a little more consistently like LSs and A8s do on the interiors.
