I loved this generation. Wasn't the Supra a variation of the Celica at this time, with different headlights?
I loved this generation as well. My high school buddy got a 1985 Supra in 1987, so it was lightly used. This generation has the lumbar support pump on the right side of the driver’s seat. It either looks somewhat obscene or like some pod seaweed thing. The Corolla GT-S from 1985-1987 had the same lumbar support pump. They are indeed strange looking things and often drew comments from passengers frequently.
JDR76 wonderful pics and glad you had the experience and memories. Thx for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words. We do a lot of camping trips, but this one, with just the two of us was pretty special and one we'll both always remember. We'll need to do it again, for sure.

Pros to both! Unlike you I can't spend the night anywhere until we get a cabin cruiser.
I do love boats too. I'd happily own one. Luckily, we have good friends who invite us along with them on their boat.
With that said, I don't want to have both, so it's RV camping for us. It resets my soul every time.

If you thought that was obscene, let’s not talk about the hand brake boot…

I get it. We had a 27' cabin cruiser growing up and slept on the lake all the time for the weekend. Just make sure you have a boat with A/C and a generator.
Eventually we will have one but honestly I'm fine with just the ski boat currently. It costs wayyyyyy less to keep up lol. Only 72 hours on it.
Even not spending the night, just spending the day with music and good company and splashing and wind and gunning the boat with the upgraded motor.... yes that resets my soul as well....
@Striker223 I finally stopped. Wife did drive to work today (25 miles of gas range + 47 miles of EV range), ran a few errands and final gas station in town before heading home. It was 14 miles of gas range/zero EV range when I took over and took it to the gas station.
551 miles. Wow. Wake up to a full tank every morning. Lot of impressive technology. Speaking of BMW a good friend traded his 2024 Mustang V8 manual for a Toyota Supra. Took a loss on the Ford bust says it was worth it.
