Suddenly I have this urge to hunt down a Ryobi pressure washer. Lately I feel like I'm going more and more into Ryobi ecosystem. I ended up getting this a while back too. Cuts thru a lot of shish
are the ryobi/greenworks using proprietary connectors like the sun joes of the world? I remember a detailer i worked with a couple years ago swore never to purchase them as he said its impossible to find aftermarket hoses from the machine to the pressure washer nozzle; they were designed to use something akin to 3/8 compression fitting.
Go drive an old Solara convertible if you want a great example of a weak convertible and cowl shake.
Even the Solara feels rigid compared to the 80s-vintage Dodge 400/Chrysler Lebaron convertibles, where you literally feel like you are driving a rubber band LOL.
No it isn't. I know a weak car vs a strong one. R129, I can't recall one article ever that mentions cowl shake or that the car isn't a brick.

The SL is so rigid that the ride can be almost punishing on crappy roads, but it smooths out like a luxury car once the roads are good.
So what's the number? I found it and know what it is.....
It's under 10000nm/* aka a wet noodle.
A 2006 SL (R230 generation) is 17knm/* with the top down and 21k top up.....and Mercedes was VERY proud they doubled the stiffness over the R129.
For some context a W222 S class is 40500nm/*, the F01 7 series is 37500nm/* and my A8s are 45000nm/*
The D3 A8 was 36k and the stiffest of its time. The LFA is 42k
Once you feel a chassis like that older or limper cars just feel rickety and "off" with a less soild feeling. If that's something you pick up on and can feel it's very much a turn off for convertibles on top of the crazy wind noise.

I'm still stubborn lol! Though I'm seriously considering having the lawn company I fix service trucks for just do my place this year in exchange for an engine replacement

God I remember the one time I drove one of those, I felt actual fear the car was going to fall apart. 2nd worst was a 1999 XK convertible that you could SEE the doors move around over undulations in the road!
The top was up!!
From what I remember, the coupe driving position was great. You sink into the seats more, I mean it in a good way. But entry and exit was harder.
i believe coupe and convertible seating position is the same.

No, the pressure hose is a standard M22-14. I never even hooked up the one that came in the box. Went straight to an Uberflex. The quick disconnect on the front of the gun and the included nozzles is a standard 14mm QD. The included wand and tips work perfectly on my MTM gun, and my existing tips and foam cannon snap right into the Ryobi gun.
This image is from another vendors' couplers, but it illustrates exactly the sizes of all the fittings Ryobi used:
Its a different kind of enjoyment. You trade flat our rigidity for the top down motoring.
I should probably buy one just so that I've lived with one for a while.....but the issue is noise. I'm not sure I can tolerate it and it would be a very failed summer experiment if I constantly run top up.
What do y'all think? What models don't suck to own for a summer?
Got my quick disconnects and my foam cannon and fired up the new pressure washer. Works great, I am going to get a new hose only really because I need about 10 feet more hose. The unit has plenty of power and is pretty quiet, the gun works great. Has enough power to really make nice, thick foam.
All foamed up
All done, just need to dress the tires. I put on a coat of Gyeon Wet Coat and used some KochChemie sealant as a drying aid.
Not gonna do this every week lol, but once a month or so, and the car wash in between.
