It is silly, you're absolutely spot on. The first thing I noticed about the LC convertible was how stupid the rear seats looked, just like in the SC430 as well.

Thick, thick carpet and a clean, spacious area. This is a million times better than a useless back seat.

Financed homes absolutely have to have fire, there's just no way any bank in the world would take that risk.

 

What about cars? Insurance for cars will go through the roof. Car insurance is something that would worry me

It's already high out there as it is. We paid about 50% more. So many expensive cars on the road, etc. etc.

new Mercedes SL has the rear seats. But the Maybach doesn’t (I think).

 

Yep, Reatta did have the 1988-updated 3800. It was a punchy motor for 40 years ago. I can still remember the healthy shove those cars gave you from down low.

New Merc SLs are NOT selling, like bad. I can't see them killing the SL name, but who knows.....

 

Yeah…not really a real SL IMO. I think it’s a GT/SL/S all in one design

 

The devastation from these fires is so tragic. Prayers for those affected. I have friends who lost their home on Mt.Baldy is a separate fire last year. I can’t imagine going through something like that. It’s awful.

 

The thing is, they actually look killer. The last gen I didn't like at all. I can't remember specifics but sales are BAAADDDDDD for this gen.

I'd still rather have Lexus LC convertible over this, I think. It's more elegant. No bullshyttt 4 cylinder, just an old school V8.
