honda prologue ev seems to be outselling its cousin blazer ev by about 50%. gee i wonder why... speculation the blazer ev doesn't support apple carplay or android auto (while the prologue does) although blazer has a google o.s. so presumably it does the android auto thing basically on its own.
If you grow up with these cars, you hear them all. I tried to buy that car from my Dad and he wouldn’t sell it to me. His exact words were, “you don’t want it and you’re welcome.” I am neither mechanically inclined or handy. I am a writer and a classic word nerd.I have done some demo and renovation work. As a teen and into my 20s, I had several physical jobs, but none of them involved wrenching on old Italian cars.

personally dont think it has anything to do with AC or AA.
1. Honda, like Toyota has its loyal customers
2. Although I think the Blazer looks good, conservative styling sells more which the Prologue has going for it
3. Not sure about the Blazer EV but I have been in a ICE Blazer (I think 2023) and the interior build quality wasn't good and felt and look cheap.
4. I am confident majority of the customers of both don't know the Prologue and the Blazer shares the same underpinning.
damn and this is coming from the VW/audi guy, although i suppose you'd say VWs and audis have the best packaging haha
but what're some common problems with that volvo V8? an XC90 with that engine is something i've considered for a used SUV purchase at some point
Audis have logical packaging, the Volvo for example has no drain plugs for half its driveline components and you have a horrible angle to try and force an extractor line in. Other items are buried and simple stuff requires engine support from above and subframe removal, valve covers call for 10 hours.......
The PS rack always dies and you can only get OE at over $1500
Haldex fails unless serviced
Transfer case goes
PS pump explodes
AC compressor explodes
Intake seals fail and valve covers leak like crazy
Oh and the trans is glass pre 2007.5 and post you need to service it perfectly or the TQ converter goes.
All of these things are so much more difficult than they need to be it's shocking. I was considering one when the customer first gave me their 09 and said "drive it as your to figure out all issues. At first I was like "wow, not bad not bad" and I liked the split tail gate in particular and t drove acceptably well. Interior was cheap feeling but easy to live with in the sense it's fast to clean and very easy to get in/out with no concerns, plus it was way nicer than my Jeep.
All of my desire to have one was killed once I worked on it. I've worked on several Q7s/Cayennes/T-regs to a high extent (full suspensions, front axles, engine chains, TDI turbos etc....) and not once were they this annoying.
If you want easy to work on and simpler packaging get a Chrysler or Hyundai, they are the easiest things to work on in my experience. Lot of that is because they are simple.....if you want a highly complex car that won't drive you insane get a VAG product. They may have a lot going on but it's logically laid out

client dropped by the office with a computer. didn't realize she drove a 1 yr old Range Rover autobiography (I think) with black 23" rims. wow, what a nice car.
I could so see Steve in one of these!
I didn't take this pic but it was a bit like this:
Yes, based on the Ranger. There's a very good reason it was destroyed in the market by the Chrysler minivans, and eventually replaced with the unibody Windstar. The only thing the Aerostar excelled at compared to them was towing a popup camper or small boat. If you weren't doing that, the unibody minivans were superior in every single way.
They are very nice. My neighbor has one. It's black with the black wheels and dark tint on the windows. Too much black and needs a bit of contrast IMO but he likes it.

It's the euro styling, IMO.
Nobody does it better. 📣
I had a white car and it was my first brand new car ever. I was 43 and it was my Lexus IS250 F Sport.i loved the car and especially the Rioja red guts, but did not love the slow factor. 2 years was long enough but white eventually became very boring. I like blue cars. My favorite color of all is actually atomic silver.
