My dream garage would comfortably park at least 6 cars

Plus two extra bays just because. Lol

If I hadn't gone electric, I would probably have an M2 Comp sitting in my driveway as my daily. This is my friends M4 Comp, I took it out for about an hour, it's a blast! I raced him with my Polestar, from a dig he was mine until about 70 or 80, but his M4 has more HP (600 vs 476)

You are correct. This is the E30 M3's steering rack:

And while there's almost no steering feedback in newer M's like my G80, the steering is still wicked precise. It does EXACTLY what you tell it to. It just doesn't talk back while doing so. Would I prefer to have both? Yes. That said I'll take scalpel-sharp but dead feeling steering over a box that feels great but only kinda sorta goes where I point it.

I was just guessing, I don't know either way. That first M3 is an extremely light car. Likely no need for PS.
the weight is distributed more toward the rear though in the NSX so the front wheels would be easier to turn without assistance

Like I said, many think that 1980s M3 is the best M3.
I was not fortunate enough to experience a BMW let alone a M3 "back in the day" so I can't say for sure. But from what I've read from the ones that have been a long time bimmers, newer ones are nice. IMO still nicer than the "next door" German brand.

My wife's nephew doesn't even drive it on a wet road because it's outright dangerous because of zero traction control
You're not wrong. Modern BMWs are... nice. Some do have "unique" looks but still fun to drive (compared to similar priced vehicles).

No... that's not uncommon. The only thing that has not grown on me yet is the XM's

We parked next to one last weekend. It was my wife's first time seeing one and her response was "WTF is that atrocity?"

When did the negative camber look start and why? I always assume people who do this have face tattoos.
