If they decide to produce the long range Ram interesting to see how it stacks up vs the Silverado EV. I watched a Jerry Rig everything video of him towing 11k with his Silverado EV and it did 177 miles with the AC running and him running 75-80mph. When he stopped to charge (had to unhitch the trailer😒 he had I believe 20ish miles of range remaining. At 233kwh charging speed it would take 50 or 55 min to reach 80%. The long range Ram is predicted to have a 500 mile range unloaded.
For a moment I wondered how could I make it work towing to the track. My shortest tow is 256 miles one way.
I fuelled up last night. Took me about 5 minutes, I put 78 litres in the tank. It’s been a long time since my low fuel light comes on, I have a dedicated bulb that goes on. What does your LX?
Oh it's got a low fuel light that comes on wayyyyy too soon. At least 4-5 gallons left when it does, my guess is for off roading to tell them to get their *** refueled quickly so they don't get stuck.

I've been doing it for 43 years, you're completely safe.
I think I'm more interested in why Sunoco management would randomly roll out 94 at the beginning of 2025? Seems odd to me.
i guess it's just the timing of their product roll out and they look at it as a way to differentiate themselves in a commodity business. might help their fuel business as well as the station owners and their craptastic merchandise.

i charge my ev typically twice a week. takes 2 seconds to plug in inside my toasty garage when i get home. no skanky gas station or pump or cold to deal with. i charge the lc about once every 2-3 months i'd say.

aren't all gas caps on cars built in the last 20 years tethered?

Dodge would be in a better position if they offered a full hybrid like Ford and Toyota. The range is all there if that is what is needed. I personally would not bother with the hybrid.

.
If you are towing, let’s say 10,000lbs…the fuel light comes on early as the weight in the back will eat that fuel pretty quick. I am glad Toyota does that.
Me and low fuel are on a first name basis. And let it run.
fuel prices have been fluctuating here a lot of late. So whenever it drops, I fill up asap to take advantage of the lower price.

Top tier 93 or Walmart 91 non ethanol..which one are you all choosing?
Petro-Canada because I save 3c per litre. Or Costco in the very early AM.

Not a jab but I’ve never heard anyone who doesn’t own an EV refer to gas stations as stinky. LOL guess I never paid it any attention or I’m used to stinky. Probably the latter🙃😆 I need to fill up (7) 5 gallon jugs this week with a mix of 93 and E85🌽

I plan on renting a Tundra hybrid for a 1,400 mile tow trip this year. Over 8k lbs on the hitch. I need to weigh my load.
Yea I filled up this morning. Sunoco rolling out 94 must be a very new thing. I've only noticed it in the last week or so.
The sign in that second pic is brand new. It still had a weird chemical smell to it. Somewhat like a freshly printed magazine.
Sunoco by me has had 94 octane for years. I’ve maybe put it in my GTR once since it seems like a waste since the normal premium gas is 93 octane. Maybe they sell 94 by me since the drag strip is right down the road but they sell 100 octane there, or at least used to, so no idea why they sell 94 octane.
that sounds like good news! i'm glad they accepted responsibility and are (at least attempting to lol) making things right
Accidents happen. They are a great place, I’ve been going to them for 25 years. I was gonna go down there today to the body shop but the streets are wet so I don’t want the black smudge (that pretty much indicates a tire ran into it) to wash off. I’m gonna take it tomorrow.
