No, it doesn't charge to full, it will charge to about 60 percent, the goal is to get you to your destination quickly. When I get to my brothers house, I usually have about 20 to 30 percent, I plug into his charger
But that is my point. Where she went, into the mountains of Vermont, I don't really know the number of chargers. Her brother's house doesn't have a charger. Charging it to 60% in 15 minutes is not good enough. At that time of the night with dark roads, she just wanted to get to her destination, not to charge for 30--40 minutes and waste time. I think this is an instance where a hybrid would make more sense for someone like her.

No I get that, her situation is different than mine. Although I did take a trip last summer to a remote town my aunt lives in the mountains where there was literally only two destination chargers in the whole town. The nearest Supercharger was 58 miles away. For me it was no big deal, when I left her house I had 38 percent SoC and I knew that would get me to the supercharger, but that probably wouldn't be ideal for a women traveling with children, which I totally get that
Yeah, thieves also used to steal Honda Preludes like crazy, doesn't mean they have more prestige than a friggin Bentley. Use your brain here.
Apples and Oranges. First, Preludes were pretty much going out of production by the time that Escalades were introduced around 2000. Second, it wasn't just Preludes.....Hondas, in general, were often stolen because of the wide demand for their parts, not just for joy-riding.
One other factor is that some police departments can't afford to use Bentleys as bait....they don't have the budget for it. Escalades cost enough as it is.
The whole line of thinking doesn’t make any sense. What they chose to use to attract thieves just doesn’t prove anything about what car has the most presence.
i really don't think the bentaygas are attracting attention tbh... also the only people buying bentaygas are those who couldn't get a cullinan lol (aka literally the ceo of the fintech company i worked at a year ago)
Cullinans are too small, too. Saw one the other day. Wayyyyyyyyyy more appealing than the Bentayga however. And my lord can Rolls Royce do white….
PS- I in no way said a Yukon is more prestigious than a Bentley.. But to me they look better, at least a nice and loaded one. Bentagays are just meh. They don’t stand out!
Cullinans always remind me of a british cab...you do get to a point though when a car is as big as you want it to be. My car is 208 inches long, 2 inches shorter than a Cullinan and it already sticks out of parking spaces its so long...the 7 Series being 212 inches long actually was a factor for me that worked against it.
