Vaguely, yes. I wouldn't call it a strong resemblance, but the basic shape is there. However, the Cullinan looks substantially larger.

I really have to say that BMW killed it today at the Auto Show.

massive exposure. Only M cars. Outdoor test track. And high end trendy cafe, club feel, with young people only in there. The way they separated the electric from the gas and SUVs from cars was brilliant. And they were positioned in an outstanding location where everyone who attends the show must walk through their exhibit. BMW really went all out. BMW absolutely is the #1 luxury brand.

Hats off to BMW.

They didn’t even show up to DC, no luxury marques did not even Lexus.

I wouldn’t say it’s a strong resemblance no, that’s just what it always pops into my head when I see one.

Mercedes was back. Audi. Tesla now mainstream next to Lexus. But Genesis called it quits.

Mercedes was a major let down. Only 5 or 6 models. No S class

Audi was like a museum. On their own floor

bentayga is imo the ugliest and cheapest looking bentley ever made. its rarity and ugliness makes it stand out though.

haha, perfect.

note how tall the greenhouse on the cullinan is...

it's so people with big hats can keep 'em on inside.

also love the reverse opening rear doors for easy entry/exit.

They set themselves apart from the brands in the floor. Last year it was Porsche that was in that space. Only one EV you could sit inside Audi. I think the BMW and Audi displays really worked as they set themselves apart from the mainstream. I wlll say Mercedes looked really sad with no infotainment systems working. And no Genesis which is strange as they are at every show in the last 5 years or so

How is the W8 Passat project coming along? I forgot about it until I saw the VW logo in your post.

Oh it's horribleness, week I had set an aside to work on it I fell and broke a rib landing on a 1/2 steel frame. When I actually got back to it I found the rear wiring harness is fused solid and has multiple breaks in the sheathing. I can't even pull it apart to repair since it just disintegrates more....

I thought I was just this....

But no.
But no.
Worst part is the car runs. I just have no gauges or comfort canbus and associated functions as the melted wires just instantly blow the CCB fuse.

I also made the mistake of taking it to my house thinking it would be an easy fix, so I'm under it on jack stands pulling the main fuel tank out when I feel like it after workdays if I get home at normal times.

It will be fixed, I'm just annoyed and lazy. It doesn't have a sub harness so everything needs to be manually re-wired. Car looks great on the outside though! Did a nice paint correction it haha

Oh man that sucks! Hope you feel better soon. I bruised my ribs once and couldn't do crap at work.
