Man it pulls so good up top. Like it keeps pulling. I want to keep it stock because it’s solid stock but imagine it with a tune and couple other mods.
If it were me, I would keep it stock. I heard they built in a lot of overhead and they can safely push a lot of power, but again, I would keep it stock, but that's just me
Sooooo a 92ish GMC Jimmy did a fly by on me while I was doing 100mph today. This was after while driving down another highway a cat eye Silverado with slanted dual exhaust threw it in neutral and revved at me while I was on side of him.
Oh yeah I caught up to and passed the Jimmy but I was laughing and more impressed it could go over 100. My guess it had the 4.3 EFI under the hood. After passing I dialed it back and he comes flying up again.
He had to have a 350 or 5.3 swap, no way a 4.3 is doing that unless it's turbo
Yeah, wouldn't mess with a Supra . The fastest car that's challenged my 3 so far is a WRX STI, which was an easy win. Most of the time it's Accord, Civic and the occasional Altima drivers which I don't even bother with anymore
The STIs are the peak purveyors of cope, they always act like they are so fast for cars that are so painfully slow at anything other than 0-40
Right? It's like bro, a Civic or Accord turbo will murder you with a tune lol! Yet they go around with impending headgasket failure and at least three vapes challenging everything......
Peak comedy is bullying one in a full Range Rover and he KEEPS TRYING 5 times lol!

And why are American workers able to assemble high-quality powertrains and vehicles—that is, when they're guided by Japanese management teams who didn't get their training at US business schools and aren't bidden to respond to US short-term stock market profit pressures?
because they're not uaw. boom.

You need AWD to get good traction in some scenarios but honestly you really don’t need an SUV for almost anything that any reasonable person would do.
post of the day. all this talk of triple lockers and full time 4 wheel drive just to show off on some made up rock crawling course is absurd.
if you want to go into really rugged terrain, hike it. i think my "2 wheel drive" (legs) can beat most any vehicle.
