@AMIRZA786 A lot better ⛽️ prices than California. Also I didn’t know Walmart sells Toyota/Lexus OEM filters. Changing oil on the Rav hybrid.
Thanks @BayeauxLex for rubbing it in 🤣. As the Labor day weekend is approaching, gas prices are soaring. Check those OE filters at Walmart and make sure they don't say made in China.
I agree with Striker, I used to use K&N High performance oil filters for my Camry and IS350 as well as Sienna. Also I never did extended oil changes, I always stick with 5k, even though my Sienna recommends 10k. The cost of that extra oil change is insignificant, especially since you do it yourself

5k oil changes, I would be operating an oil change shop out of my home. I’ve been doing 10k oil changes using mobil 1 oil and OEM filter for years. This is first time I’ve seen them at Walmart. Typically I order a pack of 5 from Amazon. Never checked to see where they are made🫣. I just changed oil in the Prius, track car and truck last month. I do rotate tires every 5k.
I know 5k oil change for piece of mind but we can’t outsmart the engineers
10k and I use OEM filters on every vehicle. They no good?
I change oil on track car every other track day.
No they aren't for the most part, very subpar on most tests. Exception being German brands for the most part but even then you are still better off with a top tier filter

Yes we can. Wear analysis proved we can. We readily can beat their extended intervals that they use purely to minimize TCO figures and environmental impact scores.
If you rotate every 5 oil changes should be no issue, most cars you don't need to even jack up lol!
In any case don't ever buy from Amazon for filters, too many instances of fakes.

I agree if you follow the recommendations, you are probably fine, but there's a Toyota mechanic that posts stuff on YouTube (can't recall his channel right now) who says 10k is the very minimum, and he's done some teardowns and has said expensive repairs could have been avoided by doing 5k changes. But I'm definitely not smarter than the engineers, so I'll leave it there.
Be very careful buying off of Amazon. If it's price is too good to be true, it just might be counterfeit. I've actually received counterfeit Toyota and Lexus parts. If it's shipped from a dealership, they should be fine

So let me make sure I have this right. Pic 1 he loads, Pic 2, everything fell out the back of the truck and he looks like an idiot. Got that right? I'm betting he's an amateur from the Bay area

That's the gist of it as far as I can tell. He failed to secure his load, he failed to red flag it, and he betrayed his own lack of experience. Folks on twitter seem to have identified this Home Depot as being in Issaquah, so maybe a dude with Microsoft money.
