Maybe it is a hybrid thing in general. I don’t remember our Prius needing to do that but it had that bladder gas tank.

48v S Class doesn’t require that but the PHEV S class does. I guess it’s a full hybrid able to drive without the engine on thing?

 

Yeah and it's a massive step up from older ones, you have a lot of underside braces etc as well vs older ones. They picked up like 10k nm/*

Rats ate through the passenger side fuel injector wire bundle. I took it to my favorite indy.

 

Thanks! Now I just need to refocus on preventing it from happening again.

Good luck! I battled mice for years I finally got rid of them ended up piping car exhaust under my storage shed haven't seen signs of them since.

Hopefully they get a tow truck driver who knows what he's doing.

I can see getting lots of body damage and breaking things under the car too, if not winched out carefully.

Ps, hopefully your Indy will go easy on you but I guess it depends on how much damage was done and if they have to pull a new harness thru the engine, yikes.
