They clearly have his face, problem is he's probably a drug addict and will keep doing stuff like this to feed his habit. It's such a high risk/low reward crime, only a desperate low life would take a risk like this for a few dollars worth of cable

Looks organized to me not a druggie roaming around, see the guy next to the Prius he's the getaway driver. Could simply be a couple of EV haters see people keying Tesla's just because they are Tesla's.

No it goes to pattern of behaviour, vandalizing because of EV hate Tesla's being keyed is another example of this just as is cutting charging cables. FYI people have also been cutting Tesla supercharger cables.

Catalytic converters are worth vastly more than power cables the incentive is much higher. You're not very good at pattern recognition maybe this will help.
