Whatever you may call it, it just doesn't show/work. Is it for IS only, how about another gen IS or models? I find this extremely ridiculous

who supplies the traffic info for your navi?

if its xm radio, then its not available in canada.

when i worked for mercedes, with the purchase of a new vehicle, you get xm radio for 1 year. this is registered from factory to xm radio north america. you would only get traffic report in the states. once you decide to reniew, it goes through xm radio canada. the xm channels dont change, and you still dont get traffic reports cuz your in canada.

hope that sheds some light if lexus uses xm radio traffic.

canada don't have Lexus Enform either unlike our neighbours, that goes for Toyota's Entune system too... kinda sad really when you think of it and the amount we pay for a lexus or a toyota in canada... canada gets left out with quite a lot of stuff... I was pretty much sold on Lexus IS200t when i wanted to trade my 06 IS350 but it don't have the Mark Levinson Package, but it is available as option in the usa... same with my brother's highlander limited, canadian version no LED DRL by the fog light, and no proper entune system..

traffic update runs off of HD Radio on newer lexus and canada does have it according to hd radio canada.. but could be lexus cheap out and not making it available even if the car have HD Radio cuz last lexus courtesy car i had a ES350 w/ nav + HD Radio and i didn't really notice any traffic updates and stuff like that...

I had traffic with my 2013 RX (came via sattelitte radio) but my new 2016 RX has it disabled. Wow from my service guy is that it isn't available in Canada. Large step backward in my opinion.

Also finding that 2016 version doesn't allow capability of overriding specific drive speeds for different types of road. Guess the new nav system assumes everyone drives exactly at the speed limit? One more Large Step Backward.

My understanding is that it works through the XM radio account, but I believe you may have to add $4.99 extra onto your XM bill:
