Update - head has been shipped off to porting solutions in florida. Check them out on instagram. Chris has been a pleasure to deal with and excited to start making some forward progress on the motor.

FYI a ge head without cams packed up very securely weighs 59 lbs

Still waiting on the head to come back from porting. In other news , truck is still waiting on a new trans from the dealership but needed a new daily since I’ve been without a car since Jan, scooped a new GMC Yukon xl AT4. This this is straight amazing I love it

Thanks @rudysc ! @joewitafro yeah I’ve heard a few people picked up 80+whp with his race port and polish. Kinda wish I could have tested a non ported head vs this ported head to see the gains. Still need to decide on an intake manifold and what turbo setup I want to run now.
