Default Update - Black Interior - Part 3

Hello Fellow Clublexus Members,

Update - The black doorcards I recently fitted came from an LS with no rear door tweeter covers. Turns out lexus have discontinued the part so I decided to buy a cheap doorcard from ebay solely for the tweeter cover, remove it and paint it black. Once the tweeter cover was painted I proceeded to drill a hole in the doorcard and fit the tweeters.

After thorough research on here I noticed Landau black was the SEM paint to go for, the color match is great!

You can see where I had to drill:

The end result:

As always, all comments welcomed.

(ps: I still have the other side to do)

Yann.

Default Update - OEM Celsior Kit

Hello All,

The last piece of the puzzle for my OEM + build has arrived. I bought a used color matching (062 crystal white) JDM OEM Celsior lip kit. Its not perfect and thats fine ! Perhaps ill get it repainted sometime in the future.

Quick test fit - its perfect and held up on its own without any hardware. Cant beat OEM fitment/quality.

\

After having done some research the kit does require some work to make it fit. I'll need to drill holes in the rear bumper, inner wheel wells for the sideskirts and maybe the front too.

Question: Can anyone recommend a good gasket like the gray one below that goes between the body and lip kit? toyota doesnt sell them anymore - I was thinking I could get one from another toyota, perhaps a corolla?
Otherwise I'll have to buy a few different ones to get the desired finish and fitment.

I'll try to work on the kit this weekend and take pictures!

Thanks,
Yann.

Man, I've been looking for the OEM aero pieces for awhile but the ones I see are always thrashed! I figured there has to be NIB old stock out there somewhere, but I haven't found it. Please document the install process when you get to it and congrats! Well done!!

There has to be a NIB stock, just no idea where! I can send you the info on the importer I used if you'd like? He seems to be selling these used OEM kits every week!

I am still waiting for the rubber gaskets to arrive - once I have those I'll document the installation process.
