Shift indicator decal made to match the “reversed” shift lever polarity. “-“ and “+” light up in blue when illumination is turned ON.

Since I don’t use the seat heater and cooling fan due to aftermarket driver’s seat and will be doing the same with the passenger’s seat.

Very nice. I'm surprised those don't have dust boots considering how much they cost.

I agree, I asked about that and Mike is trying to find a solution

Race shocks rarely have boots because they are so frequently serviced and never see salt. I think we have something that will protect things.

As clean as you keep your car and you don’t drive it in winter when there’s salt on road, I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
Mine has been on car for 1.5 years + without issues, although my car doesn’t see much grime nor salt neither.
Every time I do track inspection, I check the ledge where the piston rod goes in. Usually not much there but dust. I just wipe it with damp rag. These shocks are so robust. You’ll have no issues.

@JT2MA71... this is an absolutely incredible build. It took me 2 weeks using my down time here & there, but I read thru every single post in your thread. All of the carbon fibre bits.. mouth watering. And your attention to detail 👌👌

I especially loved the new style side mirrors! The 2019+ mirrors look so much better. I’ve been thinking of doing this too and would love some insight!

I believe the internals (motors, radar, etc.) as well as the glass mirror itself are all interchangeable with my current mirror. According to this diagram, I believe I need the front+back mirror case (#3), outer cover (#4), LED light (#5), and the base (#6).

But there are several options for the base (#6). I think because this piece is sold together with all the wiring and motors. The most expensive #6 has memory settings and radar for BSM. But I believe I can just buy the cheapest #6 (because all I need is the physical base) and just swap out my motors and wiring (which already have memory & BSM capabilities).

Let me know if I missed the mark & am way off. Thank you very much! I’m subscribed to your thread and am looking forward to seeing what you’ll do next!

First of all, thanks!

About the mirrors, I never really thought of taking them apart and replacing the necessary parts with the updated ones, I just went ahead and ordered a set with the same options my car has. You could very well be right though, with them being all interchangeable. Afterall, the mounting studs and wire connectors are the same. You'd also save some money doing it this way. Sorry if that's not much help, but definitely let us know how it goes!

That helps a ton, thank you! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your car next. You’re the man 💪

Fender arch trim from Japan. This is part of a 6 piece kit advertised as ISF application. None of the pieces fit the ISF but two seem to work well on the front of the RC-F. The other four are definitely the JDM rear pieces, which my car already have.
