I haven’t researched that Ctek thing yet.
Is it s charger and a monitor? Or just a monitor?
Ran my RR battery dead other day at the track. Left car in accessory mode and went to lunch...
Had to jump it to get on track. Felt like a tard.. Does that thing send you a signal when the battery is about to go dead?

I’ve been wanting to get a maintence charger for my battery from RR. Haven’t decided.
This unit is just a monitor (I also ordered their Lithium battery charger that's designed to be hooked up and left alone for long periods of time.) The app has an option for battery condition alerts. But, I haven't seen or tried how that works. The unit only communicates with your phone via bluetooth. Works well enough for me since it will get updated every time I pull in the garage in my other car.

Oh yeah, I really like it. Since I walk by the car everytime I get in and out of the house, I just quickly open the app to update. Good to know that the battery stayed at 100% during 5 days of sitting with car locked/security ON. Highly recommend the monitor. I also got the CTEK Lithium Ion charger but obviously have not used it yet.

Just an update on the Braille battery. Longest time the car has sat in the garage so far is 3 weeks and I've been monitoring charge at least twice a week. The battery has held full charge (stayed at 13.30V), car locked and all. Overall, satisfied with this lightweight lithium battery!

Just traded my '14 Lotus Exige S for a '15 RCF and came here looking for inspiration......wow this thread blew my mind. It's perfect

I think I read many pages ago that those fat wheel won't fit with the standard struts with lowered springs, can you confirm? Any rubbing under any specific driving conditions, such as dips in road with passengers in car??

Keep it up - looks amazing. I may disgracefully copy some of the things you've done....don't worry, I'm on the other side of the planet!

Thank you! The wheels fit perfect. I still have the separate spring and damper setup. you lose some clearance in the back if you do a true coilover setup. I had mild rubbing on the fronts when going over dips at higher speeds but I raised it by just a quarter inch maybe and never rubbed again.

copy all you want!

Thank you again!

This is by far the best RCF build in here.

Ron,
I’m waiting to see how your battery does longer term wise. May eventually have to swap to Braille if your experience is good.
Your drivng condition & mine are very similar. I only drive car typically on weekends so it just sits there all week.
My RR one just left me stranded yesterday. Only a year or so old.
I knew I have been having issues with it. Few times the car just totally dead like the dash wouldn’t light up at all. But lucky usually it’s been at home so I just jump it. Afterwards the cteck app would say the battery is at 100%...go figure.
I just got a lithium pulse charger to see if I can revive it.
Does your cteck app always say 100%? Mine never says anything but 100%.
