My Gs400 Audio Build
My Gs400 when I first bought her. Named her Alexus. I am a college student which means I am broke. Some people buy clothes, video games, or food while I spend my money on my car. This build is taking me awhile but heres most of what I have. Planning to open up a car audio business one day so hopefully this will gain me some respect. Time to get to work. Made custom baffles for 6.5 speakers in rear door.

Simple Sealed Box. First box I ever made. I will do better in the future when I can rely on my own cutting with a table saw rather than crooked/terribly measured cuts from my local home depot.

Came out decent but in the pictures but a little sloppy in person. Then again I am a perfectionist most of the time. When I get my new amps I will make another false floor with a router so it should come out cleaner.

Sound dampening time. I used Stinger Road Kill
Put foam on top of sound dampening to stop any rattles (closed cell foam)
Layered the foam with mass loaded vinyl to block out more noise. Makes my doors really heavy. My girlfriend complains all the time about it lol.

When I bought these speakers is when I realized my so called hobby turned into an addiction lol.
Big 3 sounds good to me.

Decided to put Aftermarket radio in place of cd changer. Once I get an Ir extender I can control the radio through the glovebox. Why? Keep scrolling lol
Bamm!!! Nexus 7 Tablet Installed
Problem I had was I wanted my tablet to be removable. While testing, it would push out fine but would not return to the normal position as you can see in the video.
I had to wire a switch for linear actuator behind tablet.

More fixing, picked up some jdm lights for a decent price
Took Alexus to the shop and got her repainted. Rust removed from junk yard hood, doors blended, and frame straightened. Back to normal

That linear actuator mod for the tablet looks pretty cool....now you have me thinking since it will be alot more universal than getting a LCD stereo system AND CHEAPER too.....figure out how to have the double din frame return to the original position? please make a tutorial
