Default My 2jz gte Build!!!!!!!!!

I got my 2jz gte vvti engine last week.. Today start doing a little weight reduction on it.. here's some pic's I'm looking to get 500rwhp.. All my other stuff should be coming in this week.. I hope to have the engine fully built and running by next weekend.. My boy Jerry is doing all the hard work.. He's the man when it comes to toyota engines,.. Thanks take care..


I thought I would have my car ready sooner but just haven't had much time.. Also Been waiting for my parts to come in..
Here's the mod list
Gt35R turbo
DM throttle body
Power house racing map ecu 2
750 Denso injectors
Apexi ws2 exhaust
Brian crower 264 cams and retainer kit
Hks gasket
tial wastegate
hks blow off vavle
Hks fuel rail..

Also getting the head resurfaced this weekend.. That all the progress right now.. And added some chrome and colors

Update, got the head rebuilt with upgrades!!!! Right now the block is bare.. Saturday will be fully finished and ready to drop!!!!! Once again my boy jerry came through, with hook my engine up...















Engine is Almost done!!!

This looks sweet and it would seem like you have a pretty penny invested in this journey your about to take I wish you nothing but the best and will be looking forward to see how you progress with this...I might even ask a few question in the event I go down this road.

Thanks guys!! When I first started with this Idea, I thought for sure it was going to be a lot of money... I'm glad to say i didn't ended spend as much as i thought.. My friend Jerry is the man when it comes to toyota engines.. he's doing the technical work... Take care..

supz... how much you paid for your engine? also, are are you keeping it auto or converting it manual....

Yeah.. Purple rules!!!!
Flexspeed.. I went throught JHOT for my engine.. THos guys are awesome over there and know there stuff.. I paid $2500 for everything.. This Engine came with everything.. As of right now I'm sticking with the auto tranny.. In the near future hope to get a v160 in there.. Thanks guys..

When you do your front mount intercooler hit me up I have a template for piping for our cars with the twin but i could fab you up piping for your setup depending on the intercooler you use, but by the looks of it your boy might all ready have you taken care of.

Did this Clip come with the ECU and all the wiring and better yet did they test everything before they sent it to you?

japspec, I will hit up definitely.. I have not decide on a intercooler yet.. Thanks for the help!!!
Sirbev, yeah Jhot runs there owns test.. When I got the engine we did a compression test and everything is fine.. Also This was the most complete engine I found.. The wiring harness wasn't cut.. Thanks.. Hoping the the 20th of this month to have it in..
