Default Tire Pump Compressor Recommendations

I've just got an IS350 and was looking for an electric tire pump compressor to check the tire air pressure every month. I'm looking for one that is compact, fairly quiet and plugs in to a conventional wall outlet. Does anyone have recommendations? If you have one, a link to where to purchase it would be appreciated.

I use the same one except it is from Sears with the Craftsman name on it, it is black. Very good pump!

Default Digital Tire Gauge

Thanks for the help. I will pick up one up from Sears because I like the black color the best, plus the Craftsman logo looks cool

I also wanted to get a digital tire gauge. I found this one which looks interesting. Do you have any other recommendations? It would ideally have a lifetime non-replacable battery.

I use a Campbell Hausfeld oil type compressor with a cast iron compressor. These are much preferred IMO as they are vastly quieter, faster, last far longer, deliver more air, and have more uses than those little plastic and aluminum oil-less boxes.

I use the compressor for many more things than just filling the tires now that I have a better one. You can clean your engine and spray away all the left over water and cleaning solution. You can drive brads. You can operate impact wrenches. You can remove water from crevices after you wash your car. You can spray paint. You can sand and polish. I got mine for $100 which is only about $50 more than the oil-less inflators costs.

This type of compressor is so much quieter, faster and better constructed that it is worth the price premium IMO. $50 or so more gets you a premium tool rather than a simple tire inflator.

I went the cordless route because I store a car for the winter and needed a compressor I could use without plugging it in. This might be another option to consider. The battery has enough reserve to handle filling all four tires.

I have not used this one, but I have used ones from the Accutire company and they work well. Here is the same one but with the Lexus logo - for more money...

I just use a simple tire pressure gauge from a local auto store. Also I have a foot pump that is used for bikes that can work on car tires as well. Simple and easy, I might get an electronic air compressor when it really becomes a hassle.

Also, I tihnk this is the wrong section to post this in, maybe this should be in Maintenance.

I like the Accutire digitals ... The "MS-4350B and the MS-5510B" are the latest designs.
