you're on the 3IS forum.... look up and see where you posted..
On a side note, search the forum next time.. you're not the first asking about this (I looked, plenty of threads on this topic there as well as what it should be at)

look on your door sticker. should tell you what the recommended pressures are. do not go with what the tire says. That is max pressure the tire is rated for, not what your tire pressures should be set at. Door sticker should be on the drivers side below the door latch anchor.
If you've ever filled up a bike tire, its the same. a foot pump probably wont be strong enough so go buy yourself either a portable pump or use one at your local gas station. a tire gauge is available at any parts store. I have a digital one i keep in the car at all times. I like being prepared so i keep a tire patch kit in the car as well at all times. I replace the kit once a year if i don't use it up, because the glue and rubber can dry out and may not work as well.

The MFR usually recommends something. but you can go from anywhere from 30 to 40 or even a bit higher.
personally i'd go 36-38 all the way around. Call it a day.
On my IS, I have 39-40 all the way around. Cold. I just did it for fuel economy. But i suppose it's a tad high.

nice, I really didn't think they'd be strong enough...or maybe that was me haha. I'm pretty small so a bike pump wouldn't work for me. For anyone on air, you can always use the tank to fill. It's what I did on my Subaru lol
