Question iPod/iPhone Connectivity

I am thinking about looking for a newer (than my 2004) Rx. What model year included iPod connectivity (instead of a cassette deck!!) as a standard feature?

Install an AUX input in the stock head unit. Fleabay-Mazon have a ton of these. Plug into the head unit and you will be able to play-plug in your Iphone-Itouch and depending on your unit will play under a CD or the 3rd FM option. Just really depending on what you end up buying. The DIY can be found here as well. Straight forward.

Search for IPOD INPUT and state your car, i.e.: “2005 RX330 Iphone Input”

Like this…Lexus LX 570 RX 300 RX 330 RX 350 RX 400H SC 430, iPhone Aux-In Radio Kit
Good luck.

They are much cheaper now...$60 easy, some lower. I paid $150 for mine 2 years ago. I have 1 on my SC and Highlander.

The IS has an audio 3.5 mm input so does not need it. That's good.

Some units offer the ability to control the Ipod-Iphone from the head unit controls. Just depends on your head unit.

Before buying, use the compatibility pull down menu. It will clearly say it MATCHES...
