And now to have some fun, 98 LS400 in the garage
Been looking to replace the 99 I gave to my dad and really wanted the Pearl White one... Finally found this and worked a deal for $3200. Very clean outside and inside, both about 9/10, but have to do some more checking. Even with 203K miles on it happy with the purchase. Know it needs some maintenance catch up, but then that's part of the fun of making it yours...
Funny thing is... after the guy bought it and left, he came back to buy my 4runner and gave me my money back and then some.
It's a shame that Sewell is no longer selling parts online. Really need some new tranny mounts for sure and who knows what else.
Here she is right after the purchase.
Going to have to put some work into this to get it looking as nice as Billy's.

congrats! most of it looks cosmetic so it should be easy. now the fun part of getting the maintenance to date!
FYI found this on other threads here, seems like the replacement but dunno how feasible it is.

Just want to remind everyone we do offer a Club Lexus discount on top of our discounted online prices at www.MyLparts.com. Just use code CL5 for an additional 10% off. We are an authorized Club Lexus vendor as well. We also offer free shipping on orders over $150 which can save you tons just there. All genuine Lexus parts. We understand that Sewell took care of you guys on a lot of TRD, F-Sport and specialty parts. Unfortunately we can only offer F-Sport items, but other than that, we offer a full line of factory Lexus replacement parts. We understand there are many choices out there for Lexus parts, but just want to make sure you know we are committed to our prices and our service! Hope to see many of you in the future!

Yep, you have a good start, but get those headlights clean first.... we have a car wash here that does them for 40$ with a lifetime guarantee (at almost 81, I just cant do them anymore) I see you have/had a bike, we all rode in the past, now just the boys (age 58 & 60) here is their latest photo..

I did go to Sewell this morning to pick up the tranny mounts and have a new key cut. And let them know I was disappointed that they shut down the online service. He said they have heard a lot of complaints about shutting it down but did not offer any reasons.
Also stopped by the cashier and picked up some free "Sewell" stickers that will get me free valet parking for the Texas Rangers games. Mostly for my mom as she enjoys the games.
I have the kit and tools for cleaning the lenses and will get to that this week.
And still have a couple of bikes that I enjoy riding also.

Your son with the Roadstar has the better bike of the two. I've got one as well (a 2002) and they are the LS of cruisers - built to last and will run forever.

Quick update:
Started the clean up and have my work cut out for me.
Seats cleaned up very nice and am happy with them. Used the Meguairs brand.
On the engine...whew, have a list of things I've already done but then found some more...
Have the alternator out now getting a rebuild as I did not like the way it was working; appeared to be overcharging. With that out might as well replace the power steering pump, so picking that up today.
Ton of oil and buildup on the underside of the vehicle and will need to see where all the leaks are. Valve cover gaskets are shot for sure and know I need a timing belt job soon also.
Well more fun planned for today and tomorrow.
