I just bought this car and it doesn't have a gas cap tether. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Do the 97s even have those? If so, I would just go to the Lexus dealer. It'll probably by like... 13 bucks tops

LS400 didn't have a gas cap tether in 1997

^ Exactly. You just unscrew it and it slides into the filler door while you pump gas.

That is exactly what I do now and hate it. I feel a mod coming on! I saw a few universal ones on ebay I might try.

What bothers me is when the tethers are like... 4 inches long and you can barely even get the cap out of the way to even jam the fuel nozzle in... like on Crown Victorias. If I created a car company, that crap would have a 3 foot tether that automatically retracts...
