Default Missing gas cap

My 1998 LS400 that I just bought is missing the gas cap. Can I get a new cap on after market sites or do I need one from the dealer. I have heard that some cars don't have caps. But my 2007 does.

Thanks,
hms09

your 1998 definitely needs a gas cap. I have an extra, or you can grab one off an aftermarket site. Dealer might be overpriced

yes you will need one. some cars are so sensitive that they will throw a CEL if the cap isn't tightly secured.
